Therapists may also have to address very powerful emotions of their own.

Main topics include:
  • Effective pain control as used by John Butler in many surgical operations
  • Healing methods and powerful programming
  • Skills of uncovering and addressing the psychological causes of various illnesses using analytical hypnotherapy
  • Address deep conflicts and issues sometimes raised by illness to optimise reaching your clientÕs inner healer and inner peace.

Teaching will be by means of lecture, short DVD segments, demonstration and group practice.

History
In 1980, Gil Boyne founded the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners, a non-profit professional organization engaging in self-regulation of all who use hypnotherapy as an integral part of a professional practice.

Membership
Since its inception in 1980, the A.C.H.E. has become an international organization. We have certified more than 13,000 Hypnotherapists and at present have more than 9,000 current, active certified members. Approximately one-third of these are physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, and representatives of the healing arts professions.

Purpose
The primary focus of the A.C.H.E. is on formal and appropriate specialized education and training followed by a comprehensive written examination and practical demonstration of hypnosis skills before a Board of Examiners. A code of ethics and principles of practice were formulated and adopted by more than eight hundred new members in the first year of operation (1980).

Examination and Registration
Examination and registration are done by Regional Examining Boards, while certification is by the national parent body-the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners. The Regional Councils are the result of the demand for full participation by the experienced and influential practitioners in other states. There are Regional Examining Councils covering most of the United States and Canada and affiliates in the United Kingdom and Australia.
